About me
I’m Emmanuelle Royer, and my journey into yoga began in 2000 after the birth of my twin daughters. Seeking balance and peace, I discovered Hatha Yoga, which quickly became my passion. In 2006, I founded Pur Yoga in Rennes, France, focusing on creating a personalized, safe space for students while blending alignment, strength, and relaxation. After moving back to Hong Kong in 2016, I continued to manage my studio remotely and deepened my yoga training. I also assisted in translating Mark Stephens' Teaching Yoga into French, enriching my teaching experience.
Alongside yoga, I have a deep passion for Miyuki Delica beads. During my 12 years in Hong Kong, my love for different cultures inspired me to combine creativity with beadwork. I published a series of books inspired by my travels, including the California Collection, dedicated to my daughters in Los Angeles.
In addition to yoga and beadwork, I am passionate about making history accessible and engaging for young readers. I have authored a collection of history books for children that combine vibrant illustrations and captivating stories to bring the past to life. These books aim to inspire curiosity and a lifelong love of learning in children.
Whether guiding a yoga student, helping a crafter, or sparking a child's imagination with history, I aim to inspire mindfulness, creativity, and self-expression in all I do.
